Pandan House Restaurant

Pandan House is a large restaurant on Jalan Sijuk, about 4.5 kilometres out of Tanjung Pandan on the road towards the north-west beaches. It is well maintained and set up for groups, with several function rooms used for weddings and events, a children's play corner and a prayer room.

The food is mostly seafood cooked in Chinese-Indonesian style: steamed and fried fish, prawns, crab, squid, and side dishes such as roast chicken and stir-fried vegetables. Tour guides often bring Jakarta groups here, and it suits a long lunch on the way to or from Tanjung Tinggi. Opinions on value are mixed; some find portions small for the price, so order a few shared dishes rather than one each.

It opens daily from 09:00 to 22:00 and has easy parking. Large dining areas mean it rarely feels full, although air-conditioning in some rooms has been patchy, so ask for a cooler room if it is a hot day.
