Island Hopping & Tours

Island hopping is the highlight of most Belitung trips. Wooden boats leave from Tanjung Kelayang beach for a half or full day, visiting the granite islands offshore, with snorkelling stops on the reef and a climb up the Lengkuas lighthouse.

You can book a whole boat on the beach or through your hotel, or join a tour that includes transport, snorkel gear and lunch. This page lists operators and the islands themselves; calm seas are most reliable roughly from March to October.
