The Links Coffee

The Links Coffee, also signed as Tentang Kopi, is a café on the beach at Tanjung Tinggi, beside the golf course and close to the famous granite boulders of Laskar Pelangi beach. The building has an air-conditioned indoor room, a semi-outdoor terrace and tables set on white sand facing the sea.

The menu covers coffee, non-coffee drinks, desserts and casual food such as fried snacks and toasties. Reviews of the food are mixed, from good value to average, but almost everyone agrees the setting is the main reason to visit: the beach faces west for sunset and visitors occasionally spot turtles offshore. It is popular with local families at weekends. Payment is by cash or QRIS and there is parking for cars and motorbikes.

It opens from 11:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 at weekends. The outdoor seats are very hot at midday, so come in the late afternoon, order a drink and stay for sunset before dinner at one of the nearby seafood restaurants.
